To commemorate the Schuman Declaration, as is now customary, a ‘European village’ will be open to the public in the centre of Luxembourg City on 9 May, which will focus mainly on the forthcoming European elections on 23-26 May. Alongside the EU institutions and Member States, various EU translation services will share a stand to promote multilingualism in Europe.

On 7 and 8 February 2019, two experts from OGYÉI, the Hungarian competent authority for the European Medicines Agency (EMA), came to give practice-oriented training to the Centre’s in-house translators. With almost 43 000 pages translated in 2018, EMA is the Centre’s third client in terms of translation volume.
