Ex-ante publicity 

of a negotiated procedure for the award of a middle value contract 

Translation and post-editing services regarding texts in the field of general affairs from Danish, German, French, Croatian, Italian, Maltese, Dutch, Portuguese, Slovak and Swedish into English

The Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union (CdT) envisages to launch a middle-value negotiated procedure in December 2025, for the conclusion of multiple framework contracts for translation and post-editing services regarding texts in the field of general affairs from Danish, German, French, Croatian, Italian, Maltese, Dutch, Portuguese, Slovak and Swedish into English.

This ex-ante publicity is the first stage of the negotiated procurement procedure through which the Translation Centre may award the above-mentioned contracts.

All economic operators interested in providing the services described above should express their interest to participate in the negotiated procedure by e-mail to tenders@cdt.europa.eu indicating name, organisation, address, country and e-mail. 

The deadline for the expression of interest is 12 December 2025.

All economic operators that expressed their interest by the indicated deadline will receive the tender specifications and be invited to submit a tender, provided that they are established in the EU and/or EEA, 
or are established in a third country that has a special agreement with the European Union in the field of public procurement on the conditions laid down in that agreement.

Economic operators who do not express their interest before the deadline via the indicated e-mail may not be invited to submit an offer. The latter restriction will not apply to the minimum of five economic operators directly invited by the Translation Centre.

This publication constitutes no obligation for the Translation Centre to launch the mentioned procurement procedure.
