The EDPS’ general objective is to ensure that the EU institutions and bodies respect the right to privacy when they process personal data and develop new policies.
The ERC is the first European funding body set up to support investigator-driven frontier research. The SESAR (Single European Sky ATM Research) programme is one of the most ambitious research and development projects ever launched by the European Community. Its mission is to develop a modernised air traffic management system for Europe. This future system will ensure the safety and fluidity of air transport over the next thirty years, will make flying more environmentally friendly and reduce the costs of air traffic management.
The Agency’s mandate covers a variety of Europe and worldwide opportunities for organisations, professionals and individuals. The Centre reviewed the existing terminological resources in the fields of activity of EACEA, the ETF and CEDEFOP, and a joint terminology project was included in the plan for 2010.

Clean Sky is a ‘Joint Technology Initiative’ (JTI), created by the European Commission, whose objective is to develop breakthrough technologies to significantly improve the impact of air transport on the environment.
