The Translation Centre is also active in international fora. It is a member of the International Annual Meeting on Language Arrangements, Documentation and Publication (IAMLADP), which is the largest network of managers of international organisations employing conference and language service providers (mainly translators and interpreters). IAMLADP is chaired by the United Nations and represents a community of about 10 000 language professionals.

The overall objective of the IAMLADP is to enhance the efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness of conference, language and publishing services within each participating organisation, by offering their managers a unique forum where they can exchange information, share experiences on policies and practices, pool resources for tasks of common interest and promote training and exchanges of staff.

The Translation Centre has created a number of Joint Training Ventures for the IAMLADP community, and has offered them to hundreds of translators from IAMLADP organisations over the last few years.
