We are therefore particularly pleased to share with you our short video, subtitled in the 24 official EU languages, retracing the first exciting 25 years of the Centre’s existence. Despite the difficult circumstances, we were able to bring all the Centre’s past Directors together in this video, which is of great emotional value to all of us. We would like to pay tribute to them on this occasion.

We would also like to cordially thank our clients and interinstitutional partners for their continuous trust in our work and fruitful cooperation throughout all these years. Our sincere appreciation also goes to our external language service providers for their professionalism that helps us deliver the services our clients expect from us.

We are proud to be part of the family of EU agencies and to support them by providing the language services they need to communicate effectively with the Union’s citizens.

Over 25 years, we have been committed to promoting multilingualism and the cultural and linguistic identity of the people that make up the European Union. While we look back with great satisfaction on what we have achieved, we also look forward to continuing our dual mission of providing language services to the EU agencies, institutions and other EU bodies and of cooperating with the translation services of the EU institutions in order to uphold one of the core values the EU stands for, which is being united in diversity.
