European Parliament Trainees visit the Translation Centre
Body

Undertaking a traineeship within the EU’s institutions, bodies and agencies is an opportunity for university graduates to learn more about EU careers and to build their professional skills. It is also a chance for them to better understand the functioning of the European Union and how we work.

The Translation Centre regularly welcomes trainees to share its experience in translation and related activities.

On 12 and 22 June, the Translation Centre hosted two groups of trainees. During the visits, Ildikó Horváth, Director, provided a comprehensive overview of the Centre’s activities and the key role we play in facilitating effective multilingual communication. Giuseppe Forte, head of the Workflow Management Section, also presented the workflow in the different linguistic services, as well as the quality assurance processes, terminology management, and potential job opportunities at our agency.

The Translation Centre endeavours to foster collaboration and build bridges through languages.

These visits were an opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas, strengthening our commitment to excellence in language services.
